Dilip Raval, PhD

The Artist

Dilip Raval’s grand symphonic compositions are the result of his pursuit of perfection, sensitivity, and knowledge of classical music. His selective eye orchestrates each image through light, form, color, shape, and pattern in painted harmony. Following in the tradition of legendary American landscape photographers, Raval was initially trained under Ansel Adams and has studied under John Sexton and Christopher Burkett. His studies with Joe Drivas and other professionals continue to guide his exploration of excellence with his work.

He prints his own photographs using archival paper and pigment inks so that it is realistic and magical yet sublime. Raval draws the viewer’s eyes deep within the image which allows one to experience a sense of spirituality and quiet reverence.

Dilip Raval’s exhibits at the National Center for Photography as an Art, Mumbai, India and The Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas, Texas, garnered numerous positive reviews. These continue to be- an inspiration to share his creation with the rest of the world.
